Much excitement at Allumination Central…

Posted by Al on July 3, 2008

Two excitements at once. First of all, I’ve sold my story ‘Fishermen’ to Interzone! Which is fantastic news – watch out for it (I think) sometime this autumn, I suspect just before ‘Sohoitis’ comes out in Postscripts 17 (current issue available here). And secondly, I’ll be celebrating this weekend at Jean Herve Peron’s Avant Garde Festival at Shiphorst – which should be wildly entertaining, and more than a little crazed. And if you want to experience it for yourself, details on how to stream it are on the home page…

Congratulations! So do we have a ritual celebration for sales for writers group meetings yet? I vote you bring the Krispy Kremes!

  4. I have been raving about both of those stories to anyone who’ll listen, Al – can’t wait to see the final versions!

Hi Wendy – sounds like a good idea! There’s one in Waterloo, no? And thanks for that Chris, glad they’re going to be out there! And I can’t wait to see illustrations etc as well…
